"The Bucharest City Challenge is much more than just a motor race", says Hartmut Beyer, C.E.O. of event promoter Bucharest-Ring s.r.l. "Our philosophy of organising motor races on street circuits involves an overall event concept that provides entertainment of various sorts not just for motor racing addicts, but for the entire family. Of course, music and art are very important factors in this approach. It is great that we have been able to sign Faithless for this concert, which attracted many people who probably wouldn't have come to the race circuit otherwise. Now, they know about Bucharest-Ring and about the Bucharest City Challenge."
The music style of Faithless can be described as a mix of triphop, progressive trance, hiphop, pop, club and other different styles. The Faithless line-up usually includes guitar players and a drums section rather than just a DJ and a singer. This combination is quite seldom in dance music. Faithless debut single "Salva me" which was released in 1995, became a big hit with over one million copies sold all over the world. Later successful singles were "Insomnia"(1996), "God is a DJ"(1998) and "We come 1" (2001).
